Higher Study on Leather Technology : Part-1

Higher study on Leather Technology or Leather Engineering is not widely available till today. Only a handful number of universities and colleges offer courses in their higher study programs like M.Sc. and Postgraduate programs, related to Leather Technology.

Colleges and universities of UK, Italy and Germany are in the leading position, offering a number of programs and courses in leather technology for both local and international students. Our neighboring country India offers a number of courses in this field.

 In this part we're going to focus on some colleges and universities from UK that offers affordable quality education.

The University of Northampton

The University of Northampton offers  M.Sc. program in Leather Technology. The course is designed to provide opportunities to sharpen the technical knowledge and opens door for further research. 

Entry requirements

Applicants will normally hold a recognized first or second class honors degree from a UK university or international equivalent in a relevant subject area. Students with lower level qualifications, but relevant experience in the leather industry will also be considered on an individual basis. Applicants for whom English is not their first language will need to demonstrate that they meet the minimum English language requirement of IELTS 6.5 (or equivalent).
